I currently teach math and science to middle schoolers and love it! However, I enjoy spending one-on-one time tutoring students, watching them grow, and building relationships with them in the process. Teaching students is a great passion of mine and this method ensures that I reach my students in whatever way they connect to best. I have tutored high school seniors for a year and tutored a variety of elementary and middle school students. I scored 1,800 on SATs - the first time that I took them. I took many Math courses in college (total of 18 credits) and a great variety of education courses. Part of my student teaching was done in Nicaragua, Central America and I grew up in South Africa. With all of these cultural experiences, I can look at things through different lenses.
